AWE 2026 Insights: AI-Driven Smart Living Trends

AWE 2026 Insights: AI-Driven Smart Living Trends

The Appliance & Electronics World Expo 2026 was held in Shanghai from March 12 to 15, 2026. Under the theme “Smart AI, Smarter Future,” the event highlighted how artificial intelligence, smart homes, consumer electronics, intelligent mobility and robotics are moving into everyday scenarios.

Suzhou Jingman Technology Co., Ltd. (JINMANO), a China-based company focused on smart digital products, small household appliances and automotive accessories, continues to study the signals emerging from the show and their implications for product development, quality management and international markets.

AI Is Becoming a Foundation of Product Experience

AI is evolving from an optional feature into a core part of the user experience. Future appliances and consumer devices will be expected not only to follow commands, but also to respond more naturally to environments, habits and specific situations.

For JINMANO, the value of AI lies in reducing effort, improving usability and helping products perform their intended tasks more consistently. Whether an intelligent feature solves a genuine consumer problem should remain a central product-planning criterion.

Smart Cleaning Moves Toward Environmental Understanding

Smart cleaning was a prominent area at AWE 2026. Robot vacuums and related devices are progressing from basic automation toward environmental recognition, route decisions and adaptation to different spaces.

Consumers increasingly consider maintenance, reliability, adaptability and long-term ownership costs alongside cleaning results. Companies must therefore look beyond feature counts and coordinate algorithms, mechanical design, materials, quality validation and after-sales experience.

Portable Appliances Address More Everyday Scenarios

Home, office, commuting and travel routines increasingly overlap, creating broader use cases for handheld fans, foldable hair dryers and compact cleaning devices.

Developing a portable appliance involves more than reducing its size. Weight, handling, structural durability, ease of use and safety must work together. JINMANO will continue studying real consumer needs across different environments as it develops its product portfolio.

People, Vehicles and Homes Are Becoming More Connected

The vehicle is becoming an important living space beyond the home and office. Phone mounts, car fragrances, car vacuums and organizers perform different tasks, yet all contribute to a cleaner, more comfortable and convenient journey.

As personal devices, vehicles and homes become more connected, automotive accessories should be planned around complete use scenarios rather than isolated products. JINMANO will continue exploring coordinated in-car solutions with practical design and better space compatibility.

Intelligent Manufacturing Supports Continued Innovation

Smarter products also create higher expectations for production, inspection, warehousing and delivery. JINMANO plans to evaluate workshop optimization, automation, AI-enabled warehousing and warehouse robotics to support prototyping, traceability and dependable fulfillment.

These initiatives remain under planning and evaluation. Equipment, implementation schedules and final solutions have not been confirmed. The objective is to apply technology where it improves real processes.

Innovation Grounded in Real Needs

AWE 2026 demonstrated that AI, robotics and connected scenarios are moving rapidly into consumer products. Technology, however, must ultimately deliver value through products that are reliable, understandable and easy to use.

JINMANO will continue monitoring the global appliance and consumer electronics industries while balancing innovation, experience, quality and market value.

Choose JINMANO. Choose Quality.
